Hub
The central Hub is the located at the end on Main Street and in front of Cinderella's Castle. This is a popular place to take pictures of Cinderella's Castle or the Partner Statue. The Partner Statue is located in the middle of what is called the central Hub, and features Walt Disney pointing at something for Mickey Mouse to see. Additionally in the Hub, there are 8 smaller statues surrounding the Partner statue in. These characters include Minnie Mouse, Brer Rabbit, Donald Duck, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Goofy, Pinocchio, and Chip and Dale. Character Meet and Greet are held around the Hub during the day and after the shows in Cinderella's Castle foreground. The street that encircles the Hub is where the Main Street Vehicles travel during the day as well as the parades. Family Fun Day parade is now running, and guests can join in this patriotic parade down Main Street, U.S.A. From the Hub, you can get to 4 different land by walking over bridges that take you to the different lands. The lands are Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Liberty Square and Adventureland. The Hub got it's name from the design of the park, Hub and Spoke. The Hub and Spoke park design got it's name after a wheel on a bike where the Hub is central of the wheel and the spokes connect to the hub.
MouseMom's Tips:

The Hub and castle foreground gets very crowded during the parades and Wishes. Get a spot early if you want a good location for viewing. Spectromagic and Wishes are normally scheduled 1 hour apart.

If you are seated in front of the castle for Wishes, some of the fireworks will be blocked by the trees and Cinderella's Castle.

If you are not watching the parade, Wishes, or leaving the Magic Kingdom avoid this area if you can.
