Main Gate

The Main Gate is where all the transportation vehicles drop off guests to enter the Magic Kingdom. Before entering the gates, there is a bag check for all guests entering the Magic Kingdom. If you are entering the Magic Kingdom without a bag, there is a different entrance where you enter without waiting in line. Make sure all the pockets of the bag are open to get though the bag check quicker.
After the bag check, there will be ticket entrance gates. Guests will put in their ticket and place their finger on a scanner to gain access to the park. The finger scan measures your finger width, so only the owner of the ticket can enter the park.
The Guest Service window and restrooms are located outside the main gate. If anyone needs a restroom, this is a good place to use. The restrooms are normally less crowded than inside the park.
During the park opening, characters will arrive at train station for the grand opening of the park. During the day characters are also inside the gates to greet guests coming and leaving.
Strollers, wheelchairs and lockers are located to the right, under the train station when entering the park. Look for Cast Members outside the gates to pay for your stroller or wheelchair before entering the park. With your receipt you will shorten your wait in line.
